Electronic air cleaners are effective at reducing particles in the air, but must be cleaned frequently for maximum efficiency. these air cleaners have no effect on micro-organisms, chemicals, or toxins.

HEPA filters are very effective at removing particles, but also have no effect on micro-organisms, chemicals, or toxins.

Ultra violet lights can be effective on micro-organisms, chemicals, and toxins, but must be placed in a position where they can effectively irradiate.
